The Iranian Christian Azadegan Party was formed in 2019 with the participation of Iranian Christians and the need to have a Christian political party.
In 2019, brainstorming sessions were held to select the founding board members and strategies for a Christian party, and this process lasted about a year.

The constitution and motto of the Iranian Christian Free People’s Party were drafted in 2020, and the party’s pillars and the drafting and regulations of the working groups were completed in 2021 and 2022.
The party was officially registered in Europe in 2022 and officially began its work

The first board of directors election was held in September 2022, and the following members were elected as the first board members for two years:

In 2023 and 2024, the first board of directors began forming working groups and issued several political statements on various issues related to Iran.
On February 17, 2024, a large webinar was held with the participation of various parties and political organizations, where viewpoints were shared on different matters.

The second election for the board of directors of the Azadegan Christian Party of Iran was held in September 2024, and the following members were elected:

2. Deputy Secretary General: Rev. Noorollah Ghobeitizadeh
3. Spokesperson: Dr. Tomaje Ariankia
4. Treasurer: Rev. Iman Bani Tahmasb

9. Rev. Anush Kasra
The inspectors for this course are Dr. Sina Rahimi and Pastor Parviz Farzaneh Kari.
The second board of directors will lead the party until September 2026.
