Iranian society has been under dictatorship and oppression for centuries. Destroying of this tyranny is not possible except with a radical change in the behaviors, structures and eventually participation of the whole nationalist and open-minded Iranian people. Therefore, some Christian Iranians with different orientations for a free Iran has come together under a named “Christian Azadeghan Party of Iran” in the frame of efficient organization with correct political approaches. About the name of the party Name of the party is Christian Azadeghan of Iran. Each of these words shows the goal, unity, and future hope of this party.Azadeghan: according to the holy book, freedom is a definite right of every human and a divine gift that no power or government can stand against it. Christian: this is a human who with the obedience of the God of Jesus and do what he asks, believes that others are better than himself, has deep respect toward them and try in this way. Iran: consist of nationalists who believe in unity and integrity of our country and try hard for building and entitlement of Iranian citizens’ right This party consists of all liberal people of Iranian regardless of their believes, religious orientation, ethnicity or cultural background. It believes that the interaction of this party having Christian identity, with other political parties of the country can help to supervise the performance of the executive branch better and prevent from a totalitarian rule. It can also help to create a diverse and peaceful atmosphere for leading the country. It can also help to create a healthy environment for cultural, political and social development of all Iranian people with the recognition of freedom of religion and thought. Historical Perspective We believe that characteristic of each nation and its high standards over the centuries, gets a beautiful shape just like a diamond under hard pressures. The history of Iran has experienced several up and downs during the last thousand years. It started from Hakhamanshian, Ashkanian and Sasanian dynasties that were leaders in science, culture, art and civilization. Then it goes to the attack of Muslim Arabs to the country and the fall of Iranian civilization, the courage and resistance of Iranian people for protecting culture and national ceremonies during the occupation of the country by the foreigners shows the depth of rich culture and civilization that has preserved and is preserving itself under any conditions. On the other hand, after the fall of Pahlavi kingdom, Iran witnessed the decline of power in the region and around the world. Millions of Iranians had to leave the country and immigrated to different countries around the world out of fear of Islamic government. The destructive war that was the result of Islamic government incitement ruined the country and its national wealth. Christianity in the history of Iran Christianity is not a western religion in Iran. It has born from the hearts of Iranian truth-seeker. Despite the conflict and hostility in the past centuries, especially past four decades that tried to fade and clean the effect from public mind, the evidence of Christianity it is still firmly clear to everyone. In the last century, selfless evangelists from various Christian groups have paved the way for entry of Iran from the age of ignorance to the age of science and industry with building schools, universities, hospitals, orphanages and leper houses. This heart connection of Iran with Christianity has been there from the beginning of its history. some sages traveled from Iran to Bethlehem in order to worship the promised king, Jesus. The story of these sages has connected the history of Christianity with Iran. On the other hand, presence of 3 Iranian races, Part and Maad and Ilamian, in the establishing of church in Feast of Pentecost – according to the second chapter of “Acts of The Apostles” book – shows Iranian presence in this event. So, Christianity is not only western but also Iranian people has a major role in keeping and developing this religion since the establishment of churches. Iran has preserved its independent political and territorial identity during the history despite all wars and attacks. The goal of this party is maintaining unity and territorial integrity with the tricolor flag of the lion and the sun. People have cleaned themselves from ethnic prejudices, and even though talk and study in their own languages, they want to be citizens of a single culture. We believe in fair distribution of construction and social welfare, public health insurance, education, free health care system, equal rights for every citizen regardless of their gender, ethnicity, language, place of living; and we will stand to achieve it. Service to elderly, people with special needs such as physical or financial disability, and retired people should be noticed. Services to these people should be provided to the extent that the fear of rejection is not felt in this groups. A decent life belongs to everybody and is everybody’s right.
